Practice policies and information

The information NHS practices must publish, in one place.

Named accountable GP

Every patient registered with this practice has a named accountable GP who is responsible for their overall care. If you would like to know who your named GP is, please ask at reception. You can also tell us if you would prefer to see a particular doctor, and we will do our best to arrange that.

Our practice area

We register patients who live within our practice boundary. If you are not sure whether your address falls inside it, please contact reception on 01709 514443 and we will check for you.

GP net earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services at the practice. This statement is published annually and is available from reception on request.

NHS England requires that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised, and the required disclosure is shown here. However, it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.

Training and teaching

Please ask at reception whether the practice is currently involved in the teaching or training of healthcare professionals. Where students or trainees are present, you will always be told in advance and you may decline without affecting your care.

Zero tolerance

We expect patients to treat our staff with courtesy and respect. The practice operates a zero tolerance policy towards violent, threatening or abusive behaviour. Anyone behaving in this way may be removed from the practice list and, where appropriate, the incident will be reported to the police.

Access for disabled patients

If you have access or communication needs, please tell us so we can make the right arrangements for your visit. This includes step-free access, an interpreter, a hearing loop, longer appointments or information in another format.

Your information

We hold your medical records securely and only share them in line with the law. Read our privacy notice to find out who has access to your information, how it is used, and your rights over it.

Comments and complaints

If something has gone wrong, we want to know. Our feedback and complaints page explains how to raise a concern and who to contact if you are not satisfied with our response.

Rights and responsibilities

You can expect to be treated with respect, to be given clear information about your care, and to be involved in decisions about your treatment. In return we ask that you attend appointments you have booked, or cancel them in good time so another patient can be seen.
