Can I register as a patient if I live out of area?
Yes, as long as you are able to attend Askern Medical Practice for blood tests and face-to-face appointments when needed.
How do I get a face-to-face appointment?
When submitting a request, please state that you would like to be seen in person and our team will be happy to arrange it.
How do I see a healthcare professional?
When requesting an appointment, let us know the reason for your appointment so you can be booked with the most suitable healthcare professional, which includes GPs, nurses and allied health professionals. All urgent issues are dealt with on the same day. Our trained care navigation team will advise you of the most suitable options.
Do I need to join if I am healthy?
We would definitely recommend it. Knowing you have a team in place that can get back to you quickly provides reassurance and reduces worry if illness does happen.
